Hello one, hello all!
I'm SO sorry it has been so long since we've last chatted ... I don't know what it is about this time of year, but these last few weeks have been absolutely nuts :-/ I sure am ready for things to slow a bit, a cool breeze, and some football!
This post is going to be RANDOM, in hopes to make up for lost time ...
TRIPS
I feel like we have been going here and there and everywhere as of late. We did a decent amount of travel this summer, and then were out in LA mid-August. Blair is in NYC now, and then we have 2 or 3 more trips even before the holidays arrive-eek! I love to travel, and have done so much of my life ... but it sure does fill up yours days+weeks making time fly. I can't wait for a few weeks in a row where we will be staying put :-)
HOUSE
As most of you know, we have been having horrific house issues. For those of you who are unaware, we moved into what we thought was a brand new house in Oct 2010, and to sum it up, we were sold a complete lemon. We did all we could as consumers to prevent finding ourselves here ... but were sadly victim to a whole shlew of people NOT doing their jobs. SO, we are now involved in an awful lawsuit that is shaping up to be immensely intense + expensive. Have you ever been up against something where it was of such a magnitude that you thought it just might break you? Well, this situation has become that for us. We continue to pray for guidance and support, and would love any extra prayers yall could throw us our way ... we need them.
BIRTHDAY
This Sunday (9/4) is Blair's birthday. I am soooo excited to escape from all the heavy and just kick back, relax, and celebrate my love. can't WAIT!!!!
JOB
I started a new job mid-August ... this has obviously added to the busy busy pace we are running with. Other then my work w/Blair + and the work I've been doing with our attny's ... this will be my first time back at work post-op. They said a year, so I very much ahead of schedule.
SURGERY
Speaking of being ahead of schedule ... today is my 6 month anny of my surgery. Wow, time sure does fly! Seeing as I'm about 6 mo ahead of schedule, I continue to be immensely thankful for my healing. I'm still working out some issues, but am rockin + rollin none the less :-)
